With a modified Maestro suspension system with a new integrated lower link and 170 mm rear travel, paired with a 180 mm fork, this is the best E-Bike of Giant for downhill runs there’s ever been. Maestro’s Floating Pivot design ensures it’s always active and efficient when pedalling. Thanks to its progressive lever structure, the rear shock can be compressed easily at the beginning of the stroke and provides superb support at the end of the stroke, creating a soft, limitless ride feel that uses the full suspension travel. The result is unmatched confidence and control on big jumps, steep descents and technical rock sections.

Lightweight and still strong
If you switch from a 36 V to a 48 V system, you get more power and less heat and energy loss. With 90 Nm of torque and a peak output of 800 watts, the new SyncDrive Pro 3 motor delivers consistently high torque, even at higher cadence – so you get powerful, smooth assistance in every riding situation. The extra power combined with a lighter composite frame and a total weight of just 22.3 kg (size M) makes the Reign E+ Advanced a real powerhouse when you need it most. In addition, the 48 V system puts less load on the EnergyPak 560 battery, which has a nearly unlimited service life of up to 2300 charge cycles.

PREMIUM PROTECTION
The Reign Advanced E+ is built for hard use and impacts and features a robust battery cover with double strength, which also serves as protection for the entire length of the underside of the down tube – perfect for chairlifts, trailers or pickup transport. A new integrated skid plate protects the motor with corrosion-resistant titanium, which is twice as strong as aluminium. And thanks to reduced friction, the skid plate also prevents you from getting stuck on rocks, roots or other obstacles. Finally, a unique active MRP Bash Guard with elastomer damper and sprung construction provides unrivalled protection for the chain and chainring.
