Gone are the days when, at the pass height, you took a newspaper from a helpful spectator and tucked it under your jersey before the long, icy descent. The need for additional core protection remains, but the technology has made the journalistic solution unnecessary. With the RS SF Bib Tights S11 EVO, fully integrated protection against wind chill is always within reach. The flakFoil technology of the RS SF S11 EVO is a 3L softshell panel that unfolds over the chest under the straps – an instant storm protection upgrade. When it’s not needed, flakFoil disappears discreetly into its own pocket behind the left strap. The construction not only provides emergency protection; it also frees up pocket space that a gilet or shell jacket would otherwise take up – room for more accessories, more nutrition, more essentials. The body textile is the same ultra-soft, breathable thermo material as in the previous generation, and the storm-proof softshell panel in the seat area also returns, protecting the core from wind chill as well as from splashes. The anti-microbial insert uses the same floating design and the same airflow-promoting technologies as the summer strap bib RS SCHTRADIVARI S11, but here it is protected behind the breathable softshell panel. The result: high breathability without a cold air draught – dry warmth, crucial in cool conditions.

The OSMOS Light body material provides the lightest insulation in our OSMOS thermo family. It actively regulates temperature to prevent overheating, and its chain-knit structure provides compressive support that stimulates circulation. A panel of DIAMOND Ultra Softshell protects the core with top-class breathability, storm-proof protection and a pressure-relieving fit. The flakeFoil is made from the windproof textile THUNDER, an unbelievably light and breathable 3L hardshell with ECO DWR coating. All materials are PFAS-free.

Soft compression Module: Provides body-hugging, omnidirectional compression and stability with a waistband construction that eliminates constriction in aggressive riding positions.
X-Frame: An A-Frame suspension that limits sagging in the lower back and stabilises the insert and main panel during high-intensity rides. Anchored over the shoulder with our lightest strap bands.
Raw Cut: A low-volume finishing construction that eliminates the hem and enables friction-free layering with rain or wind overshoes.
