Description

FOCUS ON FAST

Developed on the Enduro trails around the world, the Rallon is the first choice for riders from our Enduro Race Team. But it’s also great fun on the fast lap with friends. Or would you rather spend a long day in the bike park, with big jumps and plenty of action? Whatever you have planned, this fearless bike is ready for it!

JUST LIKE THE ENDURO SPORT ITSELF, THE RALLON HAS ALSO BEEN FURTHER DEVELOPED

Along with a longer, more relaxed geometry, the Rallon also offers a larger standover height for more choice in frame size. The completely revised suspension kinematics deliver a progressive curve that, together with 160 mm of rear travel, is hard to beat: fast and agile through the corners, with full control and traction on loose ground. Add the strong Fox 38 fork and your Rallon is ready for every adventure.

When it gets properly steep on the descent, you want to drop your saddle as far as possible

Because more freedom of movement over the bike gives you more control - and more control brings you more speed. But a low saddle requires a long Vario dropper seatpost. The challenge is to allow a saddle that can be lowered deeply without affecting the insertion depth of the seatpost or the frame geometry. With its steep seat tube and high insertion depth, the Rallon offers one of the lowest standover heights in its class. That gives you plenty of space to choose your long Vario dropper post. Because to get the saddle out of the way on steep descents, long dropper posts are the only solution.

The key to feel and grip

If a frame is too stiff, that so-important sense of the ground can suffer. By tuning the carbon structure, we can control the frame’s flex without weakening it. This lets Orbea dial in the stiffness between the front and rear main triangle perfectly. We’re talking about a lot of work in engineering, development and testing that gives you more grip and more confidence on rough ground - and therefore valuable seconds in the fight against the clock.
