Assos MILLE GT Men´s Spring/Fall Bib Knickers S11 - Black Series

In cool conditions, long bib shorts are often too much, while summer shorts and leg warmers expose the thighs and torso to the cold. The 3/4 length of the thermo knickers is the classic answer – updated here with modern technical details. The new thermoregulating POLAR textile is made from over 50 % pre-consumer recycled material. It is also softer and more elastic than the material of the previous GT knickers and breathable enough to prevent clammy chilling when temperature – or intensity – rises. The soft, lightly brushed inner side keeps warmth in the microclimate. Raw-cut finishes and the stabilising rollBar construction both come from the Racing Series and add performance details to the endurance comfort. The Sundeck panel in the insert reduces moisture absorption and provides dry, warm comfort.

Featured Fabrics
POLAR is a chain-knit fabric (250 g/m2) with a soft, lightly brushed inner side that provides a low-bulk loft and stores warmth without adding bulk. The material composition is made from over 50 % pre-consumer recycled material.

Construction/Fit

rollBar: A patented support design from the Racing Series. It stabilises the insert and holds it in place while your weight shifts when sprinting, climbing and cornering.

PILtec Plug-In: A lightweight, ultra-breathable textile band at the leg opening. The micro-dot silicone coating is invisible from the outside, but stabilises the fit and maintains grip in wet as well as dry conditions.

zeroPressure Waist: A soft, highly elastic waistband construction that improves comfort and support at the waist - without pressure or pinching.

Shock-Absorb Damping Mono 12: compressive foam layers on a 12-mm endurance platform. Thermo-formed shaping reduces edges and irritation.

3D Waffle: a patented, three-layer, perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates unnecessary weight.

goldenGate 2.0: a freely floating construction that moves with the body instead of against it. New cut-outs on the wings reduce friction across the entire pedal stroke.
