Behind the product
The previous GT Winter Jacket was practically perfect – but in winter road cycling, too much is at stake to settle for “practical”. So we further refined the formula for the S11 EVO generation. The updated GT Winter Jacket S11 offers an improved fit for more versatile comfort in upright riding positions and less restriction across the chest and shoulders. New inserts made from RX thermotextile on the side panels, under the arms and at the collar increase breathability and keep the microclimate dry – crucial for long winter base kilometres. What remains tried and tested is AIRBLOCK-EVO.916, a breathable, stormproof softshell that shields the body’s wind-facing side against wind, rain and icy winter air, complemented by the ultra-elastic AIRBLOCK-EVO.888 on the sleeves. A back panel made from highly insulating RX EVO Plus provides the elements with a thermoregulating, water-repellent surface and protects the back like the pockets against precipitation and spray.
Featured Fabrics
AIRBLOCK-EVO.916 is the warmest member of the further developed AIRBLOCK family: a softshell that combines stormproof protection with increased breathability and a more elastic, more supple fit than its predecessor. The sleeves use AIRBLOCK-EVO.888, a technology taken from the Racing Series – wind- and waterproof with high breathability and elasticity. A water-repellent, insulating panel made from RX EVO Plus boosts breathability on the back without reducing protection, and lighter panels made from thermal RX further increase breathability on the outer arm sides, torso sides and collar.

Raw Cut: Racing-inspired finish that reduces bulk and lets it combine seamlessly with gloves, thermo midlayers and outer shells.
Reflective deatiling: Stripes on the pockets and the logos are reflective and increase visibility in diffuse light and overcast skies – exactly when

Triple Ramp Pockets: Stitched into the pockets, flexible fabric panels form “covers” that secure and stabilise the contents and protect them from precipitation and spray water.
