Thanks to the best materials and consistent wall thickness, the Schwalbe inner tube keeps air for an above-average length of time. Quality control for safe riding fun: each SCHWALBE inner tube is checked twice at the factory for air retention.

Each Schwalbe tube is 100% recyclable. The recycled butyl rubber can be used in the production of new inner tubes without any loss of quality. Used, unsorted inner tubes are the starting material for recycling. In Germany, the Netherlands and Great Britain, Schwalbe supports the return process for old bicycle inner tubes with a collection system in which end users can also take part easily and free of charge. Every new Schwalbe standard inner tube is already made today from around 20% recycled raw material. Schwalbe is continuously working to further increase the share of reused material without adversely affecting the quality of the new inner tube.
