Description
The BBT-169 is made from precision-machined 4140 steel and is a high-performance tool for removing and installing selected components with 16-point tool bit sockets, including bottom brackets, Center Lock disc brake rotors and E-Bike motor retaining rings. The BBT-169 is designed to be compatible with any bottom bracket that has the corresponding tool connection. It features an extra-deep body for extra-wide spindles and flat walls at the engagement point for recessed retaining rings. The BBT-169 has three methods for locking the tool in place – a 3/8" drive socket, a 1" hex socket and 36 mm key flats – so you can loosen even the most seized bottom bracket housings. For additional stability, the BBT-169 has integrated threads for use with the Park Tool BBT-RS bottom bracket tool holding system or GPS-1 guide pins (each sold separately).
