Our new premium bike computer Edge 1060 is the first to come with voice control¹. With the built-in microphone and speaker, riders can access performance data, select routes, find interesting POIs or exchange messages without taking their hands off the handlebar. The proven 3.5-inch LCD colour display combines the Edge 1060 with a more compact housing and intuitive operation via touchscreen and buttons.

Whether on the road, on Gravel routes or off-road: new navigation features help riders choose the right route even more easily. Different route options, individual routing preferences, route previews and community-based alerts about road closures and hazards help you plan rides better on the device and react flexibly to changes along the route. Pre-installed bike maps for road bikes, Gravel and mountain bikes also make it easier to orient yourself, even in regions you haven't visited before. In addition, the Edge 1060 offers extensive training and performance features, expanded GroupRide functions³ for even more networking with other riders, as well as practical everyday functions like Garmin Pay for contactless payments on the go.

Hands-free operation directly from the handlebar
With a simple “Okay Garmin”, voice control can be activated. This lets riders, for example, access performance data, set navigation destinations, search for interesting places along the route or report hazards. The Edge 1060 responds to voice commands, adjusts the display accordingly, reads out ride data, and pulls up already loaded routes.

In combination with the Garmin Messenger app² and a compatible smartphone, text and voice messages can also be sent and received directly via the bike computer. Even the digital bike bell can be triggered via the speaker.

Better informed before every ride
The new navigation features make planning and carrying out rides easier than ever. Even before you start, riders get a preview with information on distance, estimated ride time, traffic situation and reported hazards along the route. In addition, you can compare different

route suggestions with each other. With the new routing preferences, navigation can be tailored even more individually. Depending on your personal preference, you can choose the fastest route, a particularly popular route, a route with as few elevation metres as possible, or a connection with few stops and junctions. The “Up Ahead” feature also informs you about relevant waypoints along the route, including cafés, rest stops, toilets or petrol stations.

Additional safety is provided by community alerts about road closures, potholes, obstacles on the roadway or other hazards. Riders can also report these directly via voice control.

The Edge 1060 combines the proven 3.5-inch LCD colour display with a much more compact housing and intuitive touch and button operation. It offers battery life of up to 20 hours with intensive use with active navigation, paired sensors and more. For longer adventures, the power-saving mode enables battery life of up to 60 hours.

Simply say “OK, Garmin” to start an activity on your Edge 1060 with the integrated microphone, to retrieve information about your data, or to send voice messages via Garmin Messenger™ and your paired smartphone.

Integrated speaker
On the bike, you get voice prompts thanks to the built-in speaker and the attention you need with an integrated bell function.

Improved navigation
With the new routing preference, you choose your own way and select between the most popular routes, the fastest route, the fewest elevation metres possible or navigation that is especially low on interruptions. Intelligent route suggestions based on time and bike type, as well as routes with as few stops as possible, ensure an individual riding experience.

Up Ahead
Get clear information on POIs along the route, including refreshment stops, bike shops, and more. Choose for yourself which POIs should be shown, for example cafés, drinking water points or public toilets, and see at a glance how far away they are.

GroupRide¹
With GroupRide, organising group rides is easy. Split up the route and stay in contact with all participants during the ride, receive accident notifications, compare yourself in leaderboards and earn awards. From now on, you can also compare your stats such as heart rate, power or cadence with the group average.

Optimised workout data page
Optimised data pages for workouts and segments show the most important performance data clearly. This way, during intense training sessions, you always keep all relevant information in view.

Battery empty? The Edge 1060 helps you out and charges your smartphone or other accessories too thanks to the integrated reverse-charging function.
