The Schwalbe HYBRID Al Grounder is a versatile tyre for touring bikes and E-SUVs. It rolls quietly and fast on asphalt and offers grip off the road too, on country paths and in light terrain. That way you’re well equipped for your daily commute through the city and for spontaneous detours onto unpaved routes.

COMFORTABLE AND TOUGH
With its large volume, the HYBRID Al Grounder provides damping and comfort, like you’d otherwise only get from a MTB tyre. Its robust construction reliably protects against punctures and makes it highly durable. This makes the Al Grounder ideal for modern e-bikes, E-SUV bikes and it also handles higher loads well.

THE RIGHT TYRE PRESSURE
For the best comfort, puncture protection and long service life, always make sure you’re running the correct tyre pressure. The Schwalbe Pressure Guide helps you find your ideal tyre pressure. For setting, we recommend using a pump with a pressure gauge or a separate gauge, as checking pressure by thumb can be misleading.

SAFETY THROUGH TECHNOLOGY AND VERSATILE TREAD DESIGN
The tread of the HYBRID Al Grounder is designed for versatility. The centre rib keeps rolling resistance low and ensures smooth, steady running on asphalt. The side knobs provide extra grip and stability on unpaved routes. It has a cool tread design in the Look style of Scrambler motorcycles.

PUNCTURE PROTECTION
The robust construction of the Schwalbe HYBRID Al Grounder with reinforced sidewall (Double Defense, short DD) and RaceGuard puncture protection provides high puncture security for everyday use and on tours. In addition, the Al Grounder meets the requirements of the ECE-R75 standard and is approved for S-Pedelecs.

MATERIALS
The HYBRID Al Grounder is made with ADDIX Green. In this rubber compound, we replace part of the fossil raw materials with recycled and renewable ones: process oils based on petroleum are replaced with soybean oil; silica from rice husk ash and natural rubber are added, along with recycled carbon black (rCB) from the Schwalbe recycling system.

VISIBILITY IN ROAD TRAFFIC
Subtle reflective strips on the tyre sidewall of the Schwalbe HYBRID Al Grounder help you be seen better in road traffic. The reflective strips also meet the requirements of the StVZO, so you can do without additional spoke reflectors.
