SON Edelux II LED headlight for hub dynamos - anodized silver

With a brand-new light-emitting diode and the reflector newly developed by lighting specialists Busch and Müller, the Edelux II literally puts its five-years-older brother in the shade. The light beam is twice as wide, better focused at distance, and has a evenly lit near field that starts close to the front wheel (see pictures).
The graphic on the left (light distribution on the road viewed from above) shows an evenly bright area of approx. 2 m to 20 m forward, allowing obstacles at distance to be spotted early even at speed. The light cone is well cut off upwards, which is appreciated by oncoming road users.
The solid Edelux II housing made from aluminium ensures mechanical durability and is sealed to be waterproof with a scratch-resistant, anti-glare glass cover. The magnetic switch ring allows convenient switching, even with gloves. For connection to the hub dynamo, the proven SON coaxial cable is used.
The LED sits on a copper heat sink that is screwed directly to the headlamp housing. This perfect cooling is a prerequisite for good efficiency and a long service life.

Manufacturer’s warranty:
We provide a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase from specialist retailers on the function of our hub dynamos, headlamps, rear lights and wheelsets.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear, improper use or impact (e.g. an accident).
In the event of a warranty claim, we will repair the product or replace it with an equivalent product at our discretion.
We also carry out the reprogramming of a defective hub dynamo free of charge in the event of a warranty claim.
Any further claims are excluded.
Your statutory rights relating to defects remain unaffected.
